Though, this probably works with the earlier versions too.
I just updated to CC 2017 and everything looked really great. Loving the quicker start times. 🙂
However, when I finished up my first project in Premiere Pro and queued my sequences for rendering in Adobe Media Encoder things took a turn for the worse. The logo watermark on the video could be seen in the preview window when the rendering started, but the main video clip was marked as 'media offline'… and it had that ugly red card with the messages written in many languages.
I searched the forums and many people suggested emptying the cache for everything. Then restarting the computer. I tried it, the problem persisted.
Turns out there was a much simpler solution.
Simply close out of everything.
Make a new folder and call it whatever you want (something similar to the original project folder), then move the Premiere Pro project file and any assets from the old folder to the new folder.
Double-click the project file to launch Premiere Pro. When the program loads it should say 'Locating Media'. It should find it automatically if it is in the same solder as the project file. If not, just point to where it is using the prompt.
That's it. Try to render again via Media Encoder and you should be good to go.
